Purpose of the position:
The purpose of the role is to obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge from Ziegler’s in-house developed Transport Management System (TMS) in order to implement, support, and enhance the TMS.
- Implement: set up and roll out the TMS, train the users and manage the implementation projects
- Support: make the application and supply chain knowledge available to Ziegler global organization.
- Enhance: contribute to the continuous development of the TMS
Key tasks:
- Obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge about Ziegler TMS from the in-house development factory.
- Design and develop the knowledge transfer frameworks for the global operations organization (15 countries).
- Create and maintain the full set of user documentation (user manual, sales material, etc.).
- Organize and conduct user training based on a well-defined framework.
- Assist in pre-sales, provide demo/presentation, response to IT-related questions in a RFQ
- Create, develop and manage routine relationships with the business stakeholders
- Collect, analyze and inject user requirements and customer needs.
- Conduct User Acceptance Test and provide release notes.
- Measure user satisfaction based on the quantitative and qualitative frameworks.
- Participate in the application roadmap and footprint definition including the embedding of the TMS into the overall IT landscape.
- Continuous benchmark Ziegler’s TMS with the COTS TMS in the market.
- Act as a project manager in implementation or transformation projects.
Skills & Competencies:
Educational background:
- Master degree or equivalent experiences
Professional experiences:
- Minimum 5 years in transport, freight, or supply chain with minimum 2 years in a process / IT related position
Languages:
- English, good knowledge of German, French or Dutch is a plus

- Subject matter expert in transport, freight, supply chain
- Capable to translate business requirements into functional specifications

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Computer Literacy:
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge in Transport Management System
- Knowledge in Agile Development (Scrum / SAFe)
- Basic knowledge in the concept of EDI and customer integration
Mobility:
- Travel 10% – 20% depending on the home location
